He brings nearly 25 years of PR expertise, business communication strategy, marketing savvy and political experience to every aspect of the firm’s operations. Mark defines the strategic vision of Firmani + Associates within each of its practice areas and provides senior-level counsel to client partners representing a diverse range of industries.

Kristi Herriott


Kristi Herriott leads client management, strategic planning and business development across a wide range of the firm’s practice areas including healthcare, insurance and professional services. She develops integrated marketing and PR strategy and manages a broad range of programs including regional and national media relations campaigns, community outreach, crisis communication, promotional marketing and brand management.

We align traditional and digital marketing methods, using both time-tested and innovative approaches. Central to our approach is our commitment to iron-clad accountability and setting crystal clear expectations. And throughout our relationship, we provide a comprehensive picture of the work as it unfolds.”

  • We pride ourselves on offering an internship program that provides an aggressive, real-world learning experience for participants. Our interns are given account coordinator-level responsibilities such as writing press releases, researching market trends, pitching media and planning social media campaigns. Internships are full-time, last a minimum of four months and come with a generous stipend. We’re looking for highly motivated people who possess a degree in public relations, journalism or another communications field.

  • This program provides recent grads, or those in pursuit of a degree, an opportunity to gain valuable marketing, PR and promotional experience as brand ambassadors on behalf of one of our clients. The program offers opportunities in brand promotion, event planning and execution and social media and word-of-mouth marketing techniques. It’s ideal for those pursuing a career in communications. This program is a part-time commitment that lasts six months or longer. We’re looking for enthusiastic, energetic, engaging communicators to serve as the face of our client at sponsored events and activities in Washington and Oregon.
