Sophie Cadran – Professional Intern

Sophie Cadran believes there are stories to be told all around us; it’s just a matter of looking. Her love for storytelling took root in middle school yearbook class. Since then, she obtained her bachelor’s from Western Washington University as an outstanding graduate in journalism and public relations and joined Firmani + Associates as a professional intern. Her previous work spans local journalism, social media and public relations across the nonprofit and consumer-packaged goods sectors. 

In college, Sophie worked to revive Western’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). Her involvement with PRSSA instilled a value of extending a helping hand to those coming up behind her and ensuring resources are equitable for everyone. 

A lifelong Washingtonian, Sophie loves getting outside for a hike or lake day and has a prime appreciation for a second-hand find.  

Hobbies:
Knitting, reading or getting outside with friends and family.

Make it from scratch! Homemade fettuccini, pasta sauce and sourdough. Buon appetito! 

Random Fact:
She’s a sucker for a roadside farmers’ market and enjoys making her own kombucha and medicinal herbal tinctures.
