July brought a heatwave (and an AC outage in the F+A office) – and the weather outside reflected the news across the F+A community: H-O-T!  

• F+A’s professional intern, Kate Hughes, began the month with a promotion to account coordinator and will continue serving our clients full-time. Congrats, Kate!  

• Talking Rain, the makers of Sparkling Ice, announced its partnership with K9s For Warriors, which is the nation’s largest provider of trained Service Dogs to military Veterans suffering from invisible wounds of war. The team sent warm wishes to rescue-turned-service-dog Rocky as he continues his “underdog campaign” to raise awareness around mental health needs in the veteran community, the importance of pet rescue, and more important issues. 

• The F+A team continues to grow – Liz Diamond joined our team as a senior account executive. We’re excited to have you on the team, Liz! Learn more about our new F+A’er, and why “sonder” is her favorite word, here.  

• Beth Fegan of FeganScott, a class-action law firm with national impact, spoke with Women’s Hoops Network to spread awareness of the ongoing fight for justice against the NCAA on behalf of Black student-athletes.
