August New + Noteworthy

From work anniversaries to hardware, August was a month of celebrations. It also offered many opportunities to drive innovation and awareness across sectors as diverse as mental health and food service. Here are some highlights:

  • To kick off the month, the F+A team gathered at the Fremont office for a day of work on-site! After our responsibilities were taken care of, the team headed over to Hatback Grille for happy hour – then to a Mariner’s game we went! Tridents up!
  • PRSA’s Puget Sound chapter held its Summit Awards and F+A received two; one for our efforts with Comprehensive Healthcare and its Vibrant Communities Magazine and another for PEMCO’s Northwest Poll.
  • We had the honor of celebrating not one but two Firmaniversaries––Managing Partner Kristi Herriott’s 17th Anniversary on August 1, and Administrator and Partner Keri Barker’s 16th Anniversary on August 21. Congratulations and thanks for all you do at F+A! Get to know Kristi and Keri.
  • As part of its mission to prevent and address risks of drug overdose in Central Washington communities, behavioral health provider Comprehensive Healthcare is expanding awareness and breaking stigma in a sponsored article series in the Walla Walla Union-Bulletin.
  • Consulting firm Point B announced they are building an Innovation Center in Chicago in 2025, which will be a specialized facility to test different restaurant and food service tech platforms side by side.

We’re looking forward to the music festivals, street fairs, fall events, and client communication opportunities to come from September. If you’d like to engage your stakeholders on noteworthy happenings and strategic initiatives at your organization, reach out to us. We’re always happy to connect.
